Again, I let the website slip by another couple years without an update. Like everyone, just too many things going on in our lives. Well, we haven’t given up. We love our Herefords too much to let that happen. We are back up to 20 Polled Hereford cows. We did sell some of our old favorites last fall, but kept some of their heifers as replacements. And, we still have some shorthorn cows for the crossbred side of our operation. They turned out to be a very nice addition to our herd.
The men on the farm continue to hay the fields and in spite of the weather challenges of harvesting hay in Western Washington, they love every minute. We have a wonderful set of friends and sons-in-laws that help with the hay pick-up. They honestly look forward to it every year. I think they get as much satisfaction out of the haying process as we do. With irrigation, the “boys” manage to get 2 cuttings off all the fields and even, 3 cuttings off a few. Needless to say, the summer days are pretty long at Acme Cattle Company.
Please check out the new material on our website. We have some very nice young bulls and a few heifers for sale. We also have some project /feeder steers that should make good market steers.or locker beef feeder steers.

HOW TO GET TO ACME CATTLE COMPANY
From the South: Exit 88A off I-5. Follow Old Hwy 99 approximately 10 miles into Tenino. Drive thru Tenino and turn left at grocery store intersection. We are 1/4 Mile on the left. From the North: Exit 101 (Tumwater Blvd.), 11 miles south on Old Hwy 99 on the right.
